CASE STUDY

Vancouver Farmers Market

Nestled in the heart of Vancouver, Washington, the Vancouver Farmers Market (VFM) bursts into life with the hum of local vendors, the vibrant colors of fresh produce, and the communal chatter of a bustling community.

With over 150 vendors, VFM is more than a market—it's a third place, a communal hub where locals and visitors come to soak in the culture, buy local, and support sustainable living. As a beacon for community, education, and growth, VFM prides itself on the quality of goods offered and the stories behind them, allowing customers to connect with the hands that craft their food and goods.

VFM needed a partner to take over their social media presence so they could spend more time managing their growing community offerings. Riparian Media was brought in to take social media off their plate so they could focus on the work that mattered most to them.

Process

We at Riparian Media rolled up our sleeves with no time to waste. We dug right into the soil of VFM's social media ecosystem. We initiated a collaborative fusion, working hand-in-hand with market staff to get the lowdown on the artisanal anecdotes and agricultural wisdom that thrived in the market aisles.

Our strategy? To germinate a new crop of content ideas that were as fresh and organic as the produce on VFM's stands.
