Last updated: June 12, 2026
Riparian Media LLC ("Riparian Media," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit riparianmedia.com (the "Site"), use our store, sign up for our newsletter, or otherwise interact with us online and what choices and rights you have over that information.
This policy covers our online activities only. It does not cover information collected offline or through channels other than the Site. If you have questions, contact us at hello@riparianmedia.com.
Who We Are
Riparian Media LLC is a creative agency headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, serving clients across the Portland–Vancouver metro and beyond. For the purposes of applicable privacy laws, Riparian Media LLC is the "controller" (or "business") responsible for your personal information. Our registered business name with the Washington Secretary of State Oregon Secretary of State is Riparian Media LLC.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Contact and inquiry details. When you fill out a contact form, book a consultation, or email us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, the contents of your message, and anything else you choose to share.
- Newsletter sign-ups. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address (and any name or details you provide) through our email platform, Kit (kit.com). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- Quiz and lead-magnet submissions. If you complete a quiz, download a resource, or fill out a lead form, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email, and your responses.
- Store purchases. When you buy from The Eel Suite store, we collect the information needed to process your order — your name, billing and (if applicable) shipping address, email, and order details. Payment card information is collected and processed directly by our payment processor Stripe, via Webflow Ecommerce and is not stored by Riparian Media.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, date and time stamps, and how you navigate the Site. We collect this through server log files and cookies (see Cookies and Tracking below).
Information from third parties
We may receive limited information from the platforms we use — for example, aggregate engagement data from our email platform, analytics providers, or our social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn).
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our store;
- Respond to your inquiries and provide our services;

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. See Your Privacy Rights below.
How We Use Your Information
Like most websites, the Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep your shopping cart working, understand Site usage, and improve your experience. We use:
- Essential cookies required for the Site and store/checkout to function.
- Analytics cookies through Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate Site usage.
You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings; note that disabling essential cookies may affect how the Site and store work.
Global Privacy Control and universal opt-out signals.
Some browsers and extensions let you broadcast a universal opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). Where required by law, we treat a recognized GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information from that browser or device.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, to maintain your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe, to fulfill and keep records of store orders, or to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
